I learned to transform crinoline into a magical fabric in master milliner Lina Stein’s online workshop Crinolation. We turned our fabric into beautiful swirled headpieces. I was inspired by mid-century modern shapes for this piece, but the possibilities are endless. A covered wire headband keeps the headpiece cocked at the perfect angle. This technique can be used in infinite variations.
